Leading the Way in Health Care Security
In the fall of 2023, BCI launched the first ever training program for a new classification of health care security officer, known as Health Care Protection Officers (HPOs). 42 candidates completed an intensive 7-week training course to learn how to provide security in today’s health care environment.
I've never seen any company, any client put as much resources into educating officers at any level, and I felt like I had to be a part of it.

Why BCI?
Proactive. Visible. Adaptable.
In today’s complex world, security challenges are diverse and ever-present. At Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI), we understand the critical importance of mitigating risks to safeguard your assets, employees, and reputation. Through meticulous planning and proactive measures, we address the most common security challenges head-on:
Prevent workplace violence and address the evolving range of threats public settings face every day with the appropriate set of solutions. These might include touchless access control, state-of-the-art video analytics, biometric systems, and superior authentication.
Some of the most unprotected areas are corridors, lobbies, and elevators. The most appropriate set of solutions may vary according to the needs of your facility, the community in which it is located, history of previous incidents, traffic flow, and financial considerations.
Most of the facilities we service have several entry points and hundreds employees to protect. Adequate security requires dependable planning and monitoring to cover all access points and areas within the premises.
Gain peace of mind knowing that unauthorized access is prevented through robust access control measures tailored to your specific needs.

The biggest upcoming trend we are observing is technology, particularly the integration of AI. As this trend continues to evolve, it is crucial for us to proactively recruit individuals with strong tech skills. These individuals will play a key role in facilitating a smooth transition as security officers incorporate an increasing amount of technology into their daily responsibilities.
Delivering security services within a Healthcare environment encompasses more than just crime prevention; it also involves considerations of appearance and customer service. Given that security personnel are often the initial point of contact upon entry to the premises, maintaining a polished and professional image, coupled with offering excellent customer service during these initial interactions, adds significant value to our clients. This holistic approach goes beyond mere crime prevention measures and contributes to a more comprehensive experience for all individuals accessing the healthcare facility.
